Won’t you join me for the feast?

January 04, 2013

Part of Kajal's 2013 Vision BoardOften when I stop and ask myself, “What am I really hungry for?”…the answer is I’m hungry for balance…balance between work, play, exercise, diet and feeding my spirit.

So how do we move towards that balance and make lasting impressions on our routine and soul?

I believe self- effort has a lot to do with it, but I also think community is a big key. When we get together and are part of a group of like-minded people…the inspiration we  receive (and give) often helps fuel our own fire. And best of all, a community of like-minded seekers can represent a safe space. A safe space to be who you truly want to be, to believe that it’s possible to live the beautiful life you’ve been dreaming up for yourself so that you can grow and step into your own light.

This year I’m hoping to offer several workshops that have to do with yoga, food and art. My intention for these workshops are that they are more than just a class, they are what my friends and I like to call “mind, body and soul food”Won’t you join me for one of the feasts?

PLANTING SEEDS: Setting Intentions Through Collaging

When: January 19, 2013, 1-4 pm in Antioch, CA

Registration: $30, includes boards, tea and treats

We all usually have some kind of goals we’re to reach…to lose weight, to work out more, to eat better, to take more risks, to have a more dedicated yoga practice, to meet a partner, to do more of what you really love…

Vision boards are powerful tools for getting intentions down on paper. They serve as beautiful visual reminders, roadmaps to keep us on track and inspiration to keep us going. Join me for a creative afternoon of looking inward, setting intentions and enjoying some delicious conversation, tea and treats.

What you will need to bring *: 3 of your favorite magazines, any memorabilia that inspires you (i.e. photos of yourself, favorite destinations, fortune cookie fortunes, etc.), scissors, a glue stick and your imagination.

*We will provide boards for your visions and you’re welcome to use the magazines we have on hand…but we’ve found that when you bring magazines and memorabilia of your choice…your board is much more representative of YOU.
