In India, peacocks symbolize grace, joy, beauty and love and many locals say that peacocks are generally attracted to peaceful and quiet places....so many ashrams are often graced with their presence.
So in conjunction with the peace and calm of an ashram, this piece was inspired by what we all as yogi and yogini's aspire to do through yoga and meditation; which is to rest in the still point of all that which is.
It reads, "Yoga always reminds me, to rest in the still point."
